Our run away and missing person investigations are more encompassing that an online search. There are too many factors in play at once. If you have a missing person or run away case call immediately, time is of the essence.
Our experience with runaway investigations leads us to 1 bit of free advise, Keep 1 person as the person trying to contact the missing person. If the situation is because of personal friction with a family member, Do not have that person continually try to text or call the missing person. It only throws fuel on the fire. Find a neutral 3rd party family member or close family friend that has a connection with the missing person.
